We’re Moonstruck

The atmosphere was aglow at Eclipse at the Moonrise Hotel on Delmar in The Loop with Chef Wes Johnson. Watch for our upcoming Toss a Party department in the January/February issue of SLHL, where a sensational menu from Eclipse sets the stage for an out-of-this-world party that will blast off the new year.

SLHL networking event at Bassett Furniture

Julia's Catering, Park Avenue Coffee and flowers by Walter Knoll Florist were a big hit at a phenomenal social networking event at Bassett Furniture on Manchester Road yesterday that featured Dan McCarthy, CEO of Network Communications, Inc.

Staying Connected

Networking was abuzz yesterday when SLHL teamed up with Bassett Furniture on Manchester Road for a social networking presentation by Dan McCarthy, CEO of Network Communications, Inc.

It was unique opportunity for industry professionals to gather at Bassett's beautiful showroom to learn the most up-to-date ideas and information for growing their companies' networking circles. Check out Dan McCarthy's blog at viralhousingfix.com for new networking ideas.

Julia's Catering and Park Avenue Coffee provided the afternoon's refreshments with flowers by Walter Knoll Florist.

After the event and reception, Suzie Osterloh, Suzann Hormell and I stopped by the newly completed showroom of Gegg Design & Cabinetry on Clarkson Road for a wonderful open house. In STL, the design community loves to stay connected!

PS – At SLHL, we're rolling out a new social media program, and it is available to you. Visit Design-Sherpa.com or call 314-542-0178, ext. 30.

Fall’s in the air in STL

I had a wonderful tour of the Moonrise Hotel yesterday and their out-of-this-world restaurant, Eclipse, with Chef Wes Johnson. It was so much fun to hear about all of the upcoming events at the Moonrise. For a unique weekend activity to kick-off the fall season, stop by their Great Pumpkin Carve & Glow this Saturday, October 24 at 6177 Delmar in the Loop between 3 and 6 pm, with a judging and lighting of the pumpkins from 6 to 6:30 and an after glow party on the Rooftop Terrace Bar – and bring the family. Join the festivities and have a blast at the Moonrise Hotel in the Loop this weekend!
